Christian Counseling
Helping Christians heal and find freedom in Christ.
Faith and reality can feel far apart.
It’s hard to say it, but sometimes faith makes our struggles harder.
Deep down, we know Jesus is the answer. We believe God has good things for us. But when we have ongoing problems that won’t go away, it’s disheartening. We wonder why we can’t seem to feel free.
With our Christian Counseling clients, we integrate traditional counseling methods with a faith-based framework.
At Light the Way, we want Christians of all ages to find the hope and freedom that’s theirs in Christ.
We also look at things like anxiety, sin, and depression as more than just a spiritual problem. After all, we are more than just spiritual beings—we are emotional, physical, and relational ones, too.
That’s why we work with our Christian clients to help them integrate their faith with every area of their lives.
Jesus died for the whole you—and he wants you to find more peace, live in more freedom, and better enjoy God, yourself, and others. We do, too.
We offer Christian Counseling for individuals, couples, teens & children, and families.
Here’s how it works:
1.
First session.
In our first session together, we will talk about what you’re looking to overcome. We’ll also create a custom treatment plan based on our faith-based counseling framework so you can know where we’re going in our sessions together.
2.
Ongoing sessions.
Our sessions are never preachy. We won’t use Christian cliches. We won’t use God as a crutch. Together we will work hard to explore your thinking and your relationships with yourself, others, and God. We will listen, and we will meet you where you are.
3.
Peace & Contentment.
As we work through your treatment plan, you’ll find that things will start to change. Your relationship with God will improve, as will your relationships with others. Your confidence will increase, and you’ll begin to feel lighter, more empowered, and free.
