Here’s how Individual Therapy with Light the Way Counseling works:

First session.

In our first session together, we will identify your goals and what you’re looking to overcome. From this, we’ll create a custom treatment plan to help you achieve those goals. Most of all, we will listen. As you express what’s going on, we want you to feel heard, understood, and cared for. 

2.

Ongoing sessions.

In our sessions, we will use our training and counseling methods to help you change your thinking and perspectives. Our focus won’t just be your symptoms or negative behaviors, but also on looking underneath them so you can learn better ways at interacting with life. We’ll also teach you new tools to use to better face the challenges that come your way.

3.

Healing.

As we work through your treatment plan, you will begin to feel lighter and more empowered. You’ll find yourself breathing easier and smiling more. Your relationships will improve. Your confidence will increase. You’ll find help for your problems and healing from your pain.
